We had a great experience with Scott. He sold our home close to Bee Cave, Texas this year. He really worked hard at it as the market for that size home in that area seemed to have softened. There were some homes that had been on the market in our neighborhood for over 300 days when our house went on the market and most of the sellers were going through several rounds of price reductions. A few of the sellers in our neighborhood actually took their homes off the market and rented them out instead. Our home presented a few special challenges since we only wanted to make a few basic repairs before putting it on the market. The master bathroom actually had both a regular garden tub and a walk-in bathtub that we had installed for my elderly mother, and the master closet needed some carpentry before it would be ready for move-in. He patiently guided us through the process of adjusting our expectations regarding the sale price due to the condition of the house and the adjusted square footage. He must have been very disappointed when we rejected the first offer because we thought it was too low. (The offer we finally accepted at a later date was pretty similar.)
